THE SEED HEAD
of the traveller's joy plant.
A wonderful sunny day, a kind of lazy day too, did some preening of overgrown plants and reading in the sun.
Just before five o'clock Piet Hein arrived with the train, his last of several. I went to the station and both we walked up the hill.
My haiku:
In the shadow I
Find this dancing seed head
Dancing in the wind
And the proverb:
You seek hot water under cold ice.
1641 in Fergusson
You court for friendship from them that will not befriend you.
