A day surprisingly full of possible blips, considering that it started out in the drizzle with neither phone nor camera (when will I learn?) and finished at home while it poured down outside.

Anyway, this is Gizmo, one of our two rescue ginger sisters. We lost her sister to cancer a couple of years ago. Since then Gizzie has gone from being the shy and reclusive skinny cat to the purry high-maintenance one with quite impressive love-handles, as the vet. nurse observed at the last check up. Here she is demanding re-entry through the upvc back door after feasting on fresh rain water and wet grass in the garden.
