Sparrow in the hedgerow
There's a track about a mile from our house which runs between two fields; it is lovely to go for a little walk along it. It has a thick hedge on either side, which today was full of sparrows chirruping away. They were camera-shy but I caught this one on camera. I'm not sure exactly what sort of sparrow it is - it seems to look most like an adult male house sparrow but I thought they had black beaks. Maybe it's an adoloescent male - please tell me if anyone knows!

(There are suggestions that they may build 600 houses on one of the fields...I hope they don't!)
