Day 5 - Filey 2014

Last year I worried about keeping the boys interested and occupied for a whole week away from their chums and normal activities. Now I worry about how we can squeeze in all the things we want to do and see.

Another wild and blustery day saw us exploring all the bays around Flamborough Head - again somewhere we discovered last year, but managed to expand on this year. I armed my Google calendar with the tide times before we left this year - which caused some amusement but meant we could make the most of our time and not try to explore cave-rich areas at high tide. This year we were able to shelter in one of the caves while we had our picnic lunch and flasks of hot chocolate and tea: quite perfect.
