On Frozen Pond

Somehow because it was no longer February today I went out expecting signs of spring. Only hope springs eternal! The pond on our park was still partly frozen and there was not a green shoot to be seen. However, trapped on the ice on the frozen pond were several feathers which I think belong to the swans - one of whom had been seen last month crossing the main road in search of warmer pasture!

So my blip today is to remind me that winter is still with us.
