Bronze Age Dig in Point, Lewis

Had an interesting chat with Ross (archaeologist from Archas) this morning. Exciting to have newly discovered Bronze Age settlement down the road from us.

Scottish Water was installing a new water main and had called in archaeologists from Fife-based company Archas Limited to monitor excavations. New water pipe has been re-routed.
