Flying High.

Was just leaving work tonight when I heard these planes fly over. They are The Roulettes, the RAAF acrobatic team.

So of course I stopped to take photos. It was really difficult to capture them. After awhile I thought they had stopped. So I got in the car and started to drive off.

Then all 6 planes suddenly appeared over the car park, at their very lowest height. I stopped the car grabbed, the camera, pushed the button for the window, except I pushed the button for the rear passenger window. Too late they were gone...... damn it!!!!

They are here for the Gold Coast 600 - a race for V8 cars.

Edit: Have just read that my blip for yesterday hit the Spotlight page, I don't think that has ever happened to me before... how exciting and ... I got 2 favourites as well. Thank you to everyone for looking at my blip.
