Playing on the beach

Despite the drizzly autumn weather, we had a lovely walk this afternoon (well I did - someone had a snooze for an hour!) and then spent another hour stomping on seaweed, picking up stones and shells and playing in the sand. Our favourite game was mummy build up a big pile of sand and then madam squash it down again! Lots and lots of fun and laughter!
What a lovely day. We went home and had tuna fish and tomato pasta followed by chocolate banana.

Also today I managed to turn the very last batch of green tomatoes into a spicy chutney and got two jars sealed up. Hopefully I have got it right and it will happily last until Christmas!
