Not Venice......

This is the exterior of the Venetian on the Cotai Strip in Macau. A combination of the Rialto, Doges Palace and the clock tower from St Mark's Square. There is also a small canal with gondolas (inside and outside). The internal Venice has an artificial sky and singing gondoliers. It is all OTT. The hotels are huge (this one has 7,000 rooms). We didn't go into the casino there but the one we wandered through was huge with a minimum bet of 300 Hkd on some tables and others had 1,500!. Macau is an unusual mix of mega casinos, European buildings and China!
We will go back.
