Red

Blood swept lands and seas of red to be precise.

I got the kids there, as planned, and the skies were not grey, as I had feared. The sheer volume of humankind surrounding the Tower was incredible. People swarming around in every direction. This is an amazing event, and even more surprising that it will all be gone in two weeks' time - unless the plans change?

It is possibly more thought provoking after seeing it, when it has sunk in a little, due to the difficulty of manoeuvring through the crowds - but there is at least no problem getting a good view regardless.
