Derelict Thursay: 910 Kentucky Ave.

As I pondered the idea of this challenge, to show the potential beauty in dereliction, this house on the main thoroughfare through Kingston caught my eye. Something about the curly-cue of the screen door and the vine delicately framing the window and door touched me.

The windows are broken, the porch falling, the paint almost completely peeled, but the lawn is immaculately manicured. The house itself has a spectacular view overlooking the Tennessee River. Quite a mystery...
