Crocus laevigatus

Always one of the last in flower, also one of the most variable of the Autumn flowering species. Caught in a brief bright interval. Later we spent a happy hour on the allotment in more sunshine. Pumpkins harvested, we are taking them with us to Wales where we will be until next month.
