Dramatic Scenery
It's been a day of dramatic scenery. We were up a little earlier than on previous days so we could head to the north of the island and the spectacular mountains.
This is a view from the viewpoint at Mirador des Colomer on the road to to Formentor. What a view!
After this we drove the twisty road through the mountains and, eventually, down to the coast at Cala de sa Calobra. This means "The Snake" and the road really was a wiggly adventure, full of scary hair-pin bends and sheer drops... I was glad N was driving as it would have made me very stressed! It was worth the descent as the walk through the gorge at the Torrent de Pareis was extraordinary.
Great day out.
