A wet stroll in Exeter

A very busy day spent mainly in Exeter. The weather was wet and windy and we were busy rushing around shops looking for curtains, bathroom fittings and beds. This was taken in the area by Exeter cathedral.

After this we picked up a package of nematodes from a garden centre. We had been advised to spread this over the newly laid lawn to prevent the development of leatherjackets that can eat the roots of the grass. There were so many daddy longlegs around when we arrived I'm sure it was necessary. Later in the evening there was a spectacular lighting display and rain which must have helped in making the nematodes feel at home.
