Vagrant - street living man

The man is a vagrant (a person without a settled home or regular work who wanders from place to place and lives by begging) and walks within the fearful, paranoid shell he has created.

There is fear in the eyes of those who watch him... whether it is fear caused by the possibility of violence or by the thought that "there but for the grace of God go I".....who knows.

The stink of his presence is felt as a blot on the cityscape, yet ..who presented the choices, who drove the decisions and who are we to judge.

I feel pity / rage for him
