Banana lady

A nice lady roasting mini bananas on the street in Kampong Chhnang.

I feel like they could do with a bit of sauce to counter the dryness, but if I close my eyes, thanks to the chargrilled taste I can almost pretend I'm eating BBQ food in the tranquil South African bush, not standing by a dusty roadside in Kampong Chhnang.

I reckon this lady broke some hearts in her younger days.

PS spooky coincidence as one year ago I tried these for the first time. With none in between that day and today...
