Best Before

In the interests of being sensible, we decided to swap the 'balancing on a dining room chair' method of reaching high shelves, and yesterday took ourselves to B&Q's Wrinklies' Wednesday , to purchase a sturdy two-step thingy.

So.... high kitchen shelves!! Donning safety garb, explorer's goggles, crampons , archeologist's hammer and with bin strategically placed below, I delved into the contents of the top shelf.

Two historically interesting best befores: Tesco rough oatcakes from 2007, narrowly beaten by 2006 Antacid tablets, both unopened! Hilarious exercise! We're a disgrace!
