Nelson and the Nelsonian

Happy Day ! my friend ( fellow blipper TML) has come for a few days .
I was lucky enough to meet her in Bahrain ,but sadly not until half way through our time there although enough time for us to become firm friends , she introduced me to blip too ! and that is one of our ways of keeping in touch - I took her to the Historic dockyard to introduce her to Portsmouth's most famous Admiral .
TML is now living in Nelson in NZ so it seemed apt and although she says a lot of the street names there are of nautical reference there is no memorial for the man for whom the town is named.Perhaps apon her return she could sort that out !!!
