Derelict Thursday

This blip really is a combination of sky, sea and these old derelict piles.....
.....the piles are all that remains of an outlet for Salt Water Creek. These days it is mainly left to nature, but if the creek gets extremely high the council brings in an excavator to release the water.

Its been a busy day, a visitor this morning with a cute little 6 month old cherub, then I had to go out to visit a friend. This afternoon we both have spent in the garden and we are both complaining of sore backs.

So I guess both Doug & I feel derelict tonight, but I've gone with the piles - a much prettier sight.
