Great White Egret Landing

Had a lot of fun today tromping around our local reservoir - came away with many good shots.

I've been hunting this Great White Egret for many weeks - he lets me approach only so far then he takes off. I caught him here mid-landing not too far away - I really like how this is framed and his pose while landing.

Some of my other shots from today - my second favorite Mallards in flight and another shot of Mallards.

This is one of the same Egret in flight.

And lastly one that isn't a bird at all but I love the colors and textures of this rock with a plant growing in it.

Wish I could do this every day - beat the heck out of working!
