" WE PLOUGH THE FIELDS "

As some of you know, Mr A's first work assignment was for a tractor company in Fleet where we used to live. And recently he treated himself.

This is a model of the County Commercial Cars 1884.
Launched in 1980 at County's factory in Fleet. The tractor boasted 188 HP and was the pinnacle of County's now famous generation of four wheel drive machines.

Today these highly desirable classic machines command high prices on the second hand market. Many are still used by contractors on a daily basis, 30 years after they were made!

Mr A was responsible for setting up the manufacture of these amazing tractors.

Of course it has to take 'pride of place' in the Lounge, and so long as the cats don't jump up, there it will remain.

Weather not so bad today, only getting damp once as apart from yesterday, where I was soaked several times.

Choir practice tonight was great fun and I think the evening will be a great success in December.
