Rain stopped play

I've had a lovely day off and the weather was very promising first thing. I went to the hairdressers and as it's been over 7 weeks since I've been I had quite alot lopped off and feel a bit nippy round the neck region now! After a leisurely hour or two reading mags, drinking coffee and being generally pampered in the warm I drove up to the Gliding Club and entered the mens' world. Unfortunately the weather had really deteriorated and flying had ceased. All the pilots including Mr T were grounded which on the good side meant that we were able to have lunch together. Then the weather picked up and suddenly the dining room cleared, I was abandoned (again) and flying was resumed!! Aaah well it was nice while it lasted.

Back home (alone) now, feet up and in the wam again!
