Alstroemeria

It wasn't a day for outdoor shots and I wasn't going out until well after dark so it was a day for indoor shots.

I was almost reduced to taking shots of the things I was using to make soup until I noticed the Alstroemeria. Also known as Peruvian Lily which gives a hint as to where it has its origins. Often used in cut flowers for sale I can't remember ever seeing it being grown in a garden. It would appear that it is possibly with one supplier having a number of varieties in 3 height groups.

Well its Wednesday night out so I had better get this posted and get ready.
