Moon #Fail

I waited too long to get a shot of the moon tonight with my 200m + tele-extender. So I shot the trees in my front yard instead.
Why does Beaumont have a pinkish hue at night? And the trees are green.... I attribute that to the lights in the trees, but I did not change the colors.
So... strawberry/kiwi nighttime shots it is!
I have to take a photo of the moon at some point with my zoom. And then I'll be done with that goal. I just haven't seen what it does at that focal length. Just a little goal. My mom says that's boring but it is what it is.
I waited all day for us to leave for Fort Worth.. and we did not. So 5am it is.
