Food tour

One of the perks of being at a travel bloggers conference is that you get the opportunity of trying some of the local tours. Today I went on the "Savoring Athens" tour, which meant walking round lots of food shops and cafes, and sampling the wares at each (including a certain amount of raki!).

The picture is of loukama, a dessert of fried dough, cinnamon and syrup, which we had in a cafe which has been selling this product (and nothing else) since 1912.
