Memorial

On my walk this morning I got waylaid by the Clerk to the Parish Council – Sheila to her friends. She had dropped by to look at the freshly cleaned war memorial, and was suggesting “before and after photos” for the village website (you’ll never guess who does that . . . ). I took the opportunity to take a full set of afters with my own camera, sorry telephone, and later came back with the trusty 400D and the telephoto and took some shots from way back a better perspective.

All of these were with the telephone as I thought the close-up of the whole memorial had more character than the clinical squared up photo I did for the ‘War Memorial’ information book my friend and local historian ‘Jim’ has put together.
