Leaves! Leaves and more leaves!!!

It is lovely to live in a tree lined road, but definitely not in the autumn ,or windy weather and you live on the corner of the road!!!
Every year I get the full blast of fallen leaves, they pile up around my door, which opens out wards ,making it difficult to open the door, the same with my gate, leaves pile up , therefore , hard to open , sweeping is a soulless job, you sweep them up , the wind blows 'em back.
Not being able to bend except with difficulty ,I can't pick them up?? The council, whom we pay tax to, don't collect them. So I guess I shall just plod on and hope for the best, they of course become dangerous when they get wet.

So beware of wet leaves in Sanderstead????????
