Peter Hain
This wasn't really my chosen blip, but I can't publish the one that was because it was a green room shot, showing staff chatting and Peter Hain MP (in the picture above) with his Grandson. It looked so good, really summed up all the behind the scenes comings and going of the conference.
But here instead is the public face from Peter Hain's conference speech.
A couple of the press guys yesterday had exactly the same camera and lens that I was using but one guy had an almight feck off lens the size of a dinner dish. HUGE. And he was hand holding it, no monopod. Unbelievable. It was his picture I think of Gordon Brown that went into the Western Mail. Amazing shot because of how close up it was. Must have been the 800mm.
