Third time a charm? Lost the last 2 I typed up to wifi woes...

Time to make tracks. Left KL, Malaysia bound for Singapore,...Singapore. Opted for train travel - keeping it real on the dumpling tour.

A stroll through Little India on the last day of Deepavail (Hindus autumn Festival of Lights) where you could hear, see & smell pretty much everything needed to praise the gods that be.

Lunch & a newspaper for the 7hr trip.
Travelling via Superior (or 2nd class) the air conditions out shines anything long haul I've travelled back home & with trolley service, it was rather impressive for just $MYR35 (about $AUD13). Interestingly if you travel in the opposite direction it will cost you $35 SGD which is a lot more for the same thing.

Walked the long way round to our hotel which happens to be on Bencoolen St...where a new train station is under construction ...until 2017. Great location, but as warned hotel rooms here are tiny (it's a small island afterall)

Dumplings on the street for a late dinner.
