Coming home to roost

We drove to Lake Karapiro today to see if there were any rowers on the lake.
Lake Karapiro is formed by one of the dams on the Waikato River and is where New Zealand's Olympic champion rowers train. The day was grey and the lake very hazy and not good for photos but I did spot these pigeons huddled together on the structures bracing the face of the dam. I suppose the concrete provides warmth and shelter.
