Only the pure in heart can make a good soup.

Today was Ted's Soup Day, an annual event that started many moons ago when Ted and Kath held a soup day at their house to invite puppeteers and friends together. Sadly, Kath is no longer with us, but Michael and I have taken over and help Ted with the event every year, including moving the Soup Day from Albrighton to Bridgnorth.
This year was one of the best Soup Days - we had 40-50 people, tons of food, great conversation and fabulous performances (some better then others, but all good efforts).
After the soup day ended, we took everyone over to the NPA. Needless to say, everyone was more then impressed - overwhelmed was an adjective used quite a lot. The only issue is that they loved it so much, they didn't want to leave!
The highlight of the day: Charlotte is so used to these events, she's not shy about sitting front and center for all the performances. Unfortunately, one puppeteer was demonstrating his new puppet and the leg fell off. Charlotte politely picked it off the floor and took it back onto the stage (as it FLEW and landed at her feet). Then she rushed over to her dad ... and promptly got the giggles! Of course, this set Michael off laughing so I was forced to send them both outside to gain their composure!
This is a group photo of the people left at the end of the Soup Day. Many people traveled long distances and had to set off early to beat the Sunday night traffic.
