TRAGIC CASUALTY TO "PROGRESSS"

C. F. Martin began making real quality guitars in New York back in 1833.

Since the 1970's their prices have rocketed and their quality has plummeted...

The only half-decent wood here is the soundboard - kind of dodgy Sitka Spruce. The back & sides are Formica trying to look like Mahogany. The bridge & the fingerboard are plastic trying to look like ebony. The neck is prettied up laminated shit-wood.

Thanks to the Formica, those with ears to hear will miss the trebles which are not to be heard. Plenty of basses though...

We appear to be approaching the end of a great dynasty due to perfect stupidity.
