In the Pink

The slugs finally let this Dahlia alone long enough so that it could actually bloom! I put it in a bowl of water to enjoy in the house. I just wish they still had a smell. Mel, my resident Dahlia expert told me the smell had been bred out of them over the years. Too bad!
