The Amethyst Deceiver

A few of us went on a fungal foray at lunch time and we stumbled across this stunner, an amethyst deceiver. I've never seen this fungi before and I couldn't believe my eyes, it really is that purple!

If you look closely it looks like I've also managed to capture a little fly sitting on the fungi cap!
