Ma'am, next time, no wine in the kiddie cart

At the grocery store with my 4 year old today, and ,"WOW mom, look at the small shopping carts...can I use one????!!!!" Knowing that I didn't need too many groceries, I opted to leave the big cart behind, and let her push our groceries around in the small one.

20 minutes later and 2 pints of ice cream, 2 zucchini, a few apples, a cookie from the bakery, and 2 bottles of wine, we were ready to go.
It did feel a little strange putting the wine in the kiddie cart, and letting my 4 year old drive it up to the checkout, but hey, I ended up pushing the cart most of the way so she could eat her cookie anyway :)

Thank you to everyone who visited my journal yesterday, and all of the lovely, wonderful birthday comments! I have found I enjoy commenting on other's post just as much as I do keeping my journal current. I plan to catch up on all the wonderful comments in the next few days.
