Serendipity

Left SS's house and headed into town on the train. Dropped J off at the bus stop so she could go and see her nieces for the day. I headed off to catch up with the V's for some coffee before heading tot he pub.
A while ago an old Uni mate found me on Facebook. Serendipity you might say. We have tried to catch up a couple of times but the dates haven’t worked. So today we finally made it. We worked it had been 12 years since we last had a beer. SW hasn’t changed much. A couple of more silver hairs and a bit more padding.
Good to see SW and hear all about things. Left the OJS and went to another pub to see another old Uni mate. RJ gets a pass out away from the 3 kids when I'm down.
AC met us a bit later on after finishing his bike ride.
MS was finally let out to join us after doing all the kids things. It would have been rude of me to leave the pub without seeing him for a couple. As a result I was 3 hours late getting the bus over to J's parents, and a little bit worse for wear.
Great day though.
