Common Darter

Today started off very wet and windy, but I had planned to go out bird watching with my mates. We decided to head off to the Lincs coast hoping we might still see some of the rare migrants that have been around. Thankfully the rain stopped by the time we got to the coast but still very windy ,we did see one or two rare sea birds flying past out at sea but nothing on land to take any snapshots of. On the way home we stopped off to see what was around at a local reserve. I managed to get a few shots and was surprised and pleased to see a couple of Common Darters flying around.
