Rainbows and Hurricanes

I knew today was going to be a good day when I opened the curtains first thing this morning and saw a beautiful rainbow.

We had a play date this morning. Little S came to show off her new crawling skills. A was playing it very cool and pretending not to be overly impressed. But he's been super active this evening though and has learnt a new trick. He can now get himself sat upright from being laid on the floor. He has also pulled himself right up onto his knees. I think he was secretly watching her every move!

Grandad also popped in for an hour at lunch time. Poor grandma has been in hospital today for an operation. Grandad was at a bit of a loose end waiting to hear news of her progress. We thought she was going to be out at lunchtime but it ended up being 5pm! She's home now and in bed. We are all wishing her a very speedy recovery.
