Rose

The high winds which were forecast for this area today were not quite as bad as I expected. Fortunately no trees had come down on the route which I took to my chiropractic appointment. The practice is in a building which overlooks the River Tees between Thornaby and Stockton and I had hoped to photograph the river for today's blip but when I arrived and got out of the car the wind whistling around the building was so strong that I decided to give it a miss.

The rosebuds which I bought last week have opened out. For this close up I decided that processing in monochrome was more suitable than colour.
