Dunham Massey AGAIN

Today must be the 4/5 time I have been here this year, it's brilliant to see how different it looks at different seasons.......today I was taking my Friend Sheila (who lives in Peterborough ) here for part of her Birthday present.....good job I joined the National Trust......It has paid its way2/3 fold.
Sheila was delighted with the Stamford Hospital tour and re-inactment.
We had our lunch and also had a mooch in the shop....Sheila bought me an early Christmas present...." The White Queen" by Phillipa Gregory....... I'm not an avid reader ( but I would love to be).....but this book jumped out at me because we had seen a portrait of Elizabeth Woodville who features in this book and was the mother of the princes of the tower.
Did a few pics but I particularly liked the shadow in this one.
