Blowing a Gale

Woke at 4.45 as the wind was howling and I could hear a banging noise, getting up to investigate I found my daughters window open but not on the catch so the wind was knocking it closed, a simple thing sounds so noisy at that time of the morning. I couldn't get back to sleep so nothing else for it than to boil the kettle for a cuppa!
