Wet Wool Wagons

Yesterday I promised an update on our quest for wildlife. We did drag ourselves out of bed way too early for a holiday and went for the wildlife screen which was hidden somewhere in the forest. When we finally found it, it was already light and no wldlife was there. As we waited a bit longer (wildlife watching needs patience, I presume), still no deer or wild boars came along. Back 'home' in the estate we suspected that our chances of seeing wildlife might actually have been highest if we just would have stayed in the war, dry room, with a hot coffee behind the window. So that's what we'll try tomorrow morning.

So the only 'wildlife' we saw today where these sheep. Kind of felt sorry for them (and the shepherd), as it was raining sheep and dogs by now and the fleece they're wearing isn't really rainproof.

By the way, heath tracks weren't meant for biking, we found out.
