Confiscated chainsaws at a ranger station in the Cardamom Mountains.

Added to this were dozens of barrels of illegal meah prov oil, an ingredient in the manufacture of ecstasy. And 100+ rotting vehicles confiscated whilst transporting illegal timber.

On a trip with colleagues around some ranger stations where we support patrolling and monitoring efforts. I came here three years ago and at the time thought it was one of the more lawless places I'd visited. I haven't necessarily changed my opinion yet on this trip.
