The thruppence lens

This is my cheapest lens. It cost about o.o3 pounds sterling. I like the 5 yen coin as it has a hole in it. In my daughter's science book it shows a 5 yen coin being used with a single droplet of water to make a magnifying lens.

Feel like I'm in a bit of a photographic slump recently as I have other things to think about but I'm sure I'll stumble upon something to get excited about soon enough....

Anyway I've uploaded some moss and me pulling a silly face to the Flickrings if you can be arsed.
