Old Faithful

Very wet and windy this morning - so chance taken to try an indoor project!

This is one of two Christmas Cactus plants we have and despite gross negligence (if they were children or animals we would have been separated from them by now) they keep delivering flowers every year. Indeed this event spurs us into giving them a drink.....

I have tried a focus stack with the macro lens - 6 shots in total - to get the main flower mostly sharp (ok there are one or two 'iffy' bits) but I quite like the result. Obviously need to practice more - and take shots in smaller steps.
