Swans in a flooded field

This pair were making the most of the snow melt at the bottom of the field. Hopefully they won't make themselves too at home and start nest building. Come spring, this temporary lochan could be back to mud again.

I like the way the stripes & reflected stripes have a bit of a mesmerising effect, you probably would get a bit of eye strain if you looked at it for too long!
