Mountain Ash in the Mist
I shall forgo the discussion relating to what is "mist" and what is "fog" except to say that "mist" has always sounded nicer than "fog" somehow. In any event we had quite a lot of one or the other in Blackheath today. This is a stand of mountain ash at the end of Govetts Leap Rd, just before you get to the National Park. This area was subject to backburning during last October's bushfire emergency and has recovered quite well it seems - minus a lot of the harmful undergrowth, thankfully.
