Ocean Going Wave
Sandy's was a delight this morning! The beach had been undercut by wave erosion from Ana and the waves, while not large, were so different. Often the waves rolled back to encounter incoming waves, resulting in fillips and splashes. The smaller waves seemed to "unzip" themselves along in a wavering dancing crest - simply amazing to watch. This one was definitely a showoff - and a contrarian heading back out to sea!
The "metal detector man" was combing the steep beach hoping to find lost items from previous days - ear puffs, metal detector, hat, gloves, long apron, scoop - he was well prepared and thorough in searching.
