Drip... Drip... Drip...
Nice long walk down by the Rivers Forth and Devon today with Euan and his cousin to see the extra high spring tides. A bit chilly and very drab and gray for anything of any photographic worth, even though I've just transferred some 180 plus images from the trip.
Only a couple of swans disturbed our al fresco lunch on the river bank as they came in to land nearby. I think the rest of the wildlife was staying in to watch the Old Firm match this afternoon too as there wasn't a lot else about. Passing the local pubs on the road back though there was plenty evidence of another sort of wildlife out and about and looking pretty restless...
This picture came about after I pointed out to Euan that there was a lot of liquid dripping off the beams underneath the rail bridge. Of course he didn't believe me and, in typical 11 year old boy fashion, he had to stop and look directly up to check this for himself.
Splat. Right in the kisser.
