Winter Arrives

They did warn there would be strong winds tonight, but this morning it was nice and calm and no frost. When I wanted to go home it was already very windy but the wind was from the NW so I thought it would be OK and it was mostly although at one point there was quite a dense snowdrift. There was also a boxy truck in front of me that sort of slid around all over the road, but I overtook it when he showed me all was clear. It looked scary and later I saw on the news that some car had slid off the road on our mountain and it looked just like that boxy truck.
